I just saved you a bunch of time, money, and aggravation trying to beat these games.

Usually, I do 10 games per video but this one has a bonus of 2 game endings so now you’re getting 12! The bonus ones are at the end.
Btw, for the first game, imagine going through a lot just to save her and that’s what your reward is. To get the better ending, you have to run up to her.
Also, just like to say playing Rampage for the NES really sucks so don’t bother playing that game… it’s 128 levels of boring torture! Most people gave up playing just a few levels. I was so bored playing it that I’ve watched youtube videos while playing just to keep me entertained.

Karateka only eends this way if you approach the girl in combat stance. As for a lot of those 2d games, its on apr with what wa susually the endings of most games at the time. Like P.O.W. I had this game and it was a pretty standard type of ending. Not any more lame than most. And what Contra was that? The one ending with the planet explosion?

The video shows the “bad ending” as opposed to a “good ending” you can get. All you simply have to do is NOT approach her like you want to fight her (like the guy did in the video), and just run straight into her arms – they will hug and you get an extended epilogue. In fact, all the levels in Karateka have cut scenes that establish that she is the girl you have to rescue, so it shouldn’t be hard to figure out you shouldn’t be walking towards her like you want to fight.
