The Path for example, is a psychological horror game. Really good for it’s price (10$ on Steam).
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is a very old game which features a very disturbing story, the more you think about it, the more it freaks you out, truly a masterpiece of it’s time.
If you want something more visceral, Dead Space is the game to go. Yes, the last one was is a very comercial game, but still it’s more scary than ANY game in this list (except maybe, for Doom 3)

The list scares me, very unproffesional to categorize those 13 games as the MOST scary video games. Those are just comercial, known games. There are games you’ve never heard of that would make most of these games look like a Barbie game.
