    don’t see how the …
    don’t see how the demo would take that much time to develop.
    Demos should be a cookie cutter lvl in the game so people can preview the game.
    They should not be used as betas but as a vessel to get more people interested in the game.

  • defcon2XX8:

    @defcon2XX8

    the …
    @defcon2XX8

    the only thing they really have to changes is the UI to tell the user that still is a demo

  • defcon2XX8:

    I like demos …
    I like demos because It shows a the gameplay and mechanics of a game, and lets me know first hand whether I want to fork out the x amount of dollars for game

    also like the BFBC series they may want to test their servers before hand for any online problem so that it doesn’t effect the full game, while giving you a taste of what you’ll get…

    so im all for demo’s, and it dosent take time out of development because all the assets and resources that are in a demo are made for the full game

  • e5daddyo:

    This is the …
    This is the friendly fire i enjoy to see. This was a simple but complex topic. I also enjoy the funny subjects in friendly fire aswell.

    My opinion is that developers should release demos AFTER the game is finished and/or released. It allows developers to give the game the polish it needs but also allows consumers who are still undecided to come to a conclusion as to is it worth thier hard earned money.

    LOLOL
    I like Demos but I hate really bad demos(N3 II demo) or demos that full of glitches(Too Human).

    I think developers/publisher need to work together to make a good demo and spread the word about it. And also take freedback from the demos and messages boards to to polish the game and market the game as well.

  • ProjectD13X:

    beta=good for …
    beta=good for multiplayer games, demo=bad for pre-release single player games, they should come out day of or day after and just be like one level

  • Jehanam:

    Im sorry… i love …
    Im sorry… i love watching friendly fire and i get its supposed to be based around light humor and not to be taken seriously but its starting to become all about talking over eachother and bullshitting as much as possible.
    I wouldn’t mind actually hearing what they actually think… cause I was liking what Jeremy was saying but he didn’t get a word in and BLEEH out he goes.

  • 4thArrancar:

    i dont like …
    i dont like crackdown! i dont understand :S seems like a less smoother version of prototype without the cool stuff

    i like demos, i play all the ones that come out even if i know im going to buy it or not, worth a look at

  • anton2maa:

    kovic’s option …
    kovic’s option sucks ass. Demos are vital to check the game(unless you’re willing to spend on games, that you will be disappointed on later). They are most important in PC gaming, for consumer to check, if he has right hardware for this game. Also, mirror’s edge got bad reviews, but game was awesome, so you can’t trust reviews.
