Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 for Xbox 360 (also on PC). Call of Duty 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, it takes place during World War 2 and features several characters from the allied perspective. You play as a Russian, British soldier and American and fight wave after wave of Nazis in dozens of intense battles across the globe. Massive in size and scope, COD2 has an immense single player campaign that is both challenging and exhilerating with constant, non stop gunfights and some vehicle levels. Duke it out across deserts, wrecked cities and through France during the D-Day operation, this early release for the Xbox 360 was a pretty heavy hitter as far as first person shooters go. Extremely affordable today and overshadowed by its younger sibling, COD4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2 should not be overlooked by fans of action games, FPS shooters and WW2 video game enthusiasts. This CGRHD review of Call of Duty 2 has gameplay footage from COD2 showing game play during this World War II video game where the din of battle rarely dies down.

Yeah, COD2 is pretty cheap down at the local K Mart. MW2 is insane on Xbox Live, everyone is a level 70 or a Prestige player, and all they do is camp and use .50′s with heat vision, in one spot. It’s getting very very bad now, anyone under level 60 has no chance. The campers then use their kill streaks to call in 4 harriers, 3 AC-130′s, 10 Predators and a continuous EMP through the entire match.

This was a great game but the thing I hate on most of the cod games was when u throw a frag and then your teammate aka cpu decides to run near it u blow him up and u fail the mission that me off so much.

Hmm…someone got a little pissy didn’t they? I never said consoles were superior to PC’s, which I know they’re not. Like I said, I don’t care about graphics, in fact, I’ve been rather underwhelmed with the last 4 years or so of gaming.

@Cecilink60 you can’t argue that a console is superior than a pc.
there’s the stupid argument that consoles can run everything, but consoles can only do that by cutting down on the games graphics.
to date, i do not know any game on the console to have exceeeded it’s computer version’s graphics.
some fake HDR or generic bloom slapped on dull graphics doesn’t make it better, it just makes a game look like glittering console shit.

$2000? More like $600-$1000 if you have above 80 IQ and build it yourself. A controller is less accurate plus there is the option to use a controller with the PC (I have a 360 controller I would never use it for shooters, though). Also who are these people that don’t want the best graphics and no mods (basically free DLC and usually better than official DLC anyway).

I say this for every Shooter or RPG or RTS game that they review on a console… PLAY it on PC! That is where you will get the best graphics, gameplay, controls, mods, multiplayer, etc etc.

Honestly, the only thing graphics wise I find out-dated is the models for people. But buildings and such are better then some games just coming out, and on the xbox 360 this game looks better then any shooter on the wii *I have world at war on the wii, and although the motion controls are neat, when the graphics are down-graded as much as they are on the wii, it’s just not that great… that and the multiplayer SUCKS…*
