What games are similar to world of warcraft?

I think i plan to quit wow for a year or so and i need a different game suggestion. Something very similar to wow gameplay, but a different story. Im really not into cute games like fiesta though. My friend suggested warhammer but i cant find any gameplay videos for it so i dont really know anything about it.
try runescape!its much better than wow and its free (unless you want to become a member) and it was voted the best mmorpg of 2009 & 2008!

Warhammer Online is similar to World of Warcraft in that it has PvP and PvE concepts. The PvP is better in Warhammer but the grind to level and PvE are not even close to World of Warcraft.
