JW Maxx Solutions Reveals Expert News for Building an Online Reputation on Social Media In 2013

By admin

Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) November 27, 2012

JW Maxx Solutions, an online reputation brand expert company constantly turned to for advice on all thing Internet, releases next years advice for small companies trying to establish themselves in the realm of online media.

Social media itself seems intuitive enough; at its heart it is just a platform for releasing news and spotlighting information relevant to the company. Companies need to remember, however, that building an online reputation needs be just one piece of a much larger puzzle. In our quick-as-lightning world of consumption, where books, games and services are expected to be delivered via the Internet in a blink of an eye, consumers look to companies to have multiple, instant avenues of communication available, says JW Maxx Solutions. Building an online reputation must rely not only on Facebook feedback, but also LinkedIn, Twitter, email, and even instant chat. The goal is to present consumers with as many choices as possible to open the communication lines this makes the company seem like it values the input of its costumers and has a stronger adherence to customer service.

Building an online reputation doesnt just stop at being accessible though, according to JW Maxx Solutions, expert online reputation managers. Something all businesses struggle with is dealing with negative comments on their social media outlets. When building an online reputation, businesses wonder, should these negative comments just be deleted? Or dealt with on a case-by-case basis? First it has to be understood that the average consumer is more likely to believe negative press than positive press, especially when posted by a normal person on a Facebook page. Consumers tend to trust each other more than any organization and the movement of peer review has never been stronger in todays commerce.

Building an online reputation is usually confronted with two types of negative comments: the constructive criticism and the subversive insult. While the former is a chance for companies to self-analyze and use as data to better their business model, the latter is usually nothing more than a childish, profane offering of rudeness that is typically just a cry for attention. When faced with such an insult, despite common sense telling a business to just outright delete the comment, JW Maxx suggests to just ignore it. Big, profitable businesses cant be bothered by this type of behavior and deleting it just makes the company look like it has something to hide, says Halicki. Just let the offender drop his pointless messages, and soon he will get attention-starved and bored, and leave you alone and without further ado you will be back building an online reputation defense.

NPD Releases Shopping Activity Weekly Holiday Trends Report for the Week Ending November 3, 2012

By admin

Port Washington, NY (PRWEB) November 06, 2012

For the week ending November 3, 2012, The Shopping Activity Weekly Holiday Trends* report from leading market research provider The NPD Group, Inc., shows that 57 percent of U.S. consumers went shopping at brick-and-mortar retail stores, and this level of shopping incidence was similar to October levels. Approximately 66 percent of these shopping visits resulted in a purchase in the most recent week, which was up 1 percentage point from the prior week.

For the week ending November 3rd online share of buying visits remained around 16 percent.

The impact of Hurricane Sandy was evident in the Northeast region (inclusive of hardest hit states NJ, NY, and CT) where brick-and-mortar shopping visits were down 7 percent when compared to the average number of shopping visits over the five prior weeks. Online buying visits that occurred in the Northeast also saw a decline by 4 percent when compared to the average of the prior five weeks. Shopping conversion in this region for brick-and-mortar was at 65 percent in the past two weeks surrounding the storm, which are the highest levels of conversion in this region since we began tracking in early October.

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy there have been widespread and lengthy power outages in the northeast. The region will try their best to get back to business but there is just one other minor hurdle to overcome that was never anticipated the absence of gas, stated Marshal Cohen, Chief Industry Analyst, The NPD Group, Inc. Retailers that may have dodged the initial impact of Sandy are now faced with this challenge and the losses of sales in and around the areas hit hardest have this unexpected layer to deal with.

*The Shopping Activity Weekly Holiday Trends is special report from The NPD Group, Inc.s Shopping Activity Service. The Shopping Activity Weekly Holiday Trends report will follow the weekly holiday shopping trends over the course of the 2012 holiday retail season and will be released weekly. Our Shopping Activity Services fields an online study to 4,750 U.S. consumers daily. It captures brick-and-mortar shopping behavior and online purchase behavior in general merchandise channels, including purchases of categories from apparel to entertainment to toys and video games. It excludes the following channels: grocery, drug, gas, convenience and restaurant.

** Buying visits occur when the consumer makes a purchase from a store or website. Buying visits are different from dollar or unit sales.

The Essentials of Star Wars: the Old Republic Gameplay

By Ilda Shaw

SWTOR, or Star Wars: The Old Republic, is a very popular MMORPG that hit the market last Christmas. Since its release, it has sold millions of copies and plenty of gamers are hooked on this fascinating new gaming experience. The game is based off of the incredibly popular sci-fi franchise Star Wars. The series’ immense popularity helps to ensure that the game will stick around for quite some time.

The game’s storyline is set thousands of years before any of the events in the movies. At this point in time, the game’s two key factions, the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, are in the midst of a conflict that had been going on for centuries. The Treaty of Coruscant brought about temporary peace, but fighting shortly followed after its signing.

Whenever you create a new character, you must choose which side you will pledge your allegiance to: the Republic or the Sith Empire. Unlike other MMOs, SWTOR has four separate classes for each side. Each one of those classes has two advanced classes that you can pick. Some of the class choices include: Bounty Hunger, Smuggler, Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight. There’s plenty to choose from and each player will easily find a class that suits their play style.

After choosing your faction and class, you will need to choose which race you will want to play. A few of the races include: Human, Sith Pureblood, Zabrak and Twi’lek. Gamers can also customize the way their character looks through a multitude of different options. During gameplay, you will pick up different pieces of armor or clothing that will even further your character’s appearance.

Gamers will also gain some companions during their gaming experience. You will meet them during your travels through the galaxy. Your character will form different relationships with each companion. They can aid you in combat and also heal you while you are out completing missions. Companions can also be customized to the player’s liking. They can take care of missions for you, gather materials and craft different items. Companions can even become love interests of your character and you can exchange gifts with each other.

For most Star Wars enthusiasts, the cherry on top is the space combat feature. It’s both cinematic and a lot of fun. What would space combat be without a ship? Every class has its own ship and players will have to upgrade them in order to carry out the harder space combat missions. Flashpoints are another great aspect of the game. These are, more or less, dungeons with boss fights and great loot. SWTOR also has its own version of PVP (player versus player) combat with Warzones. These are games where opposing factions fight to complete an objective.

Very new online players may find SWTOR gaming advice to be truly handy. There’s several Star Wars: The Old Republic tips to select from.

The basics of the Many SWTOR Classes

By Nicky Lavoy

Choosing a class in the incredibly popular online game Star Wars: The Old Republic can be difficult for new gamers. The first step to choosing which class is right for you is to choose which faction you want to play on: the Sith Empire or the Galactic Republic. To put things into perspective, the Galactic Republic is the good side and the Sith Empire is the bad side. You may picture the Jedi or the Clone Troopers from the movies when you think about the Galactic Republic.

If you are having trouble choosing a faction, looking at each one’s class choices may help. The class you choose will determine your role in a group. If a particular class seems appealing, go with that faction. If you are, instead, having problems choosing a class, first pick an allegiance. From there, determine whether or not you want to be dealing damage, healing or tanking. Each one has a special role. Tanks will be expected to protect the party, healers are in charge of keeping everyone alive and damage dealers (DPS) are only required to deal damage to enemies.

After you’ve chosen your ideal role, you can then choose which class you want to play. If you would like to play a tank and be a part of the Sith Empire, you have quite a few different choices. Bounty Hunters, Sith Warriors and Sith Inquisitors are great tanks. Most of the classes within the SWTOR game can fill multiple roles. The Sith Warrior can take on the role of a tank or also be specialized to deal damage. The Bounty Hunter or the Sith Inquisitor are wonderful healers. Inquisitors can actually play the role of a healer, tank or damage dealer. While classes can take on many different roles, certain ones are better at their role than others.

Perhaps the most popular class in SWTOR is the Jedi Knight, mainly because of its similarities to the Jedi in the Star Wars movies. It also happens to be one of the most powerful classes in the game and allows players to yield the mighty light saber. They make great tanks but are also great damage dealers. Jedi Knights are great for solo gamers and have no problems taking on Sith Warriors. They are a great choice for new gamers and are fairly easy to pick up.

After you have decided which class and faction you want to play, the next step is to choose your race. You have many different options, including: Rattataki, Sith Pureblood, Twi’lek, Zabrek and Human. Every single race has its own racial ability that is unique and can sometimes be the sole reason that a person chooses that race.

A top notch SWTOR guide might additionally enable you to pick out a class. There’s a lot of SWTOR secrets on the web.
