“Our focus is to offer the most powerful Smart TV solution paired with a Game console that offers new possibilities for the best consumer experience, with a superior Smart TV interface that anyone can add to their existing HDTV,” said Andrew Orekhov, WISE TIVI CEO and Founder. “We combined the powerful features of Google TV with an easy to use interface, and a very powerful processor unit, all of this allows the use of our device both as a Smart TV and a Game console.

High quality headphones cards are now a part of the 21st century with the launch of beatsofdre.net, an interactive, easy and fun site that lets consumers take control of the headphones. Instead of endlessly browsing a pre-designed selection of stock like at other headphones vendors, beatsofdre.net users are able customize and personalize a headphone. Launched by veteran computer game developers with more than two decades of industry experience, beatsofdre.net features cutting-edge headphones design technology and a vast library of models. Recently, Monster cable launched their outlet site beatsofdre.net. Now, people can buy the monster beats headphones with outlet price with 60% off. To guide people to select the right mode of headphones to buy, The two most popular monster beats headphones were compared side by side here.
Logically, as Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio has the Noise Reduction function, its sound quality couldn’t have been better than those products without that function. The test results show that, however, this is not quite applicable in Monster headphones. The overall performance of Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio is much better than Monster beats SOLO HD. Specifically, Beats by Dr. Dre Studio performances pretty good in low frequency, as well as bass strength and flexibility. Of course, it also performances relatively good in high frequency, at least a class above the beats SOLO HD. This is our approval of its performance of sound quality. And certainly Beats by Dr. Dre Studio has some little defectiveness too, for example, thickness and low noise during central frequency would take off points from the whole listening process. But as a product based solely on fashion, it isn’t worth quibbling over such little weakness. In noise reduction effect matters, Beats by Dr. Dre Studio does not mark the specific noise reduction value, and its noise reduction rating. However, Beats by Dr. Dre Studio noise reduction level was classified to above average.
Pros: Intense low-end boom. Solid noise cancellation. Comfortable and cool-looking. Comes with two cables, one traditional and one with an in-line microphone and answer button for use with cell phones.
Cons: Expensive. Runs on AAA batteries, rather than rechargeable cells.
Bottom line: Legendary hip-hop icon Dr. Dre, along with Monster Cable, brings the bass with these pricey noise-canceling headphones that excel at hip-hop, electronic, and louder rock music.
Unlike the Beats Studio, the Beats Pro are made for Club DJ use and therefore are built to withstand the type of abuse a mobile DJ would put them through. The frame of the headphones are made of solid aluminum that in no way bends or flexes. the Beat Pro still feels strong when the ear cups are extended or flipped up. This is because even the extender piece is made of solid metal.
It’s been three years since the world was first introduced to the Beats by Dr. Dre headphone line, and it’s definitely grown to become a Monster of a business (pun intended). From ear buds to portable speakers to iPod docks to laptops, Dr. Dre and Monster have hit every market imaginable.
The first impression is of the sheer size and heft of the headphones. They feel quite heavy on the head, and may not be ideal for the casual user. The oversize look will certainly turn a few heads, and note that indulging in too much head-bopping will give the Pros enough momentum to slide off ears.
The build quality is solidthese will stand up to a few knocks and tosses on the couch, or on the floor, and they feel extremely durable. The large padded headband attaches to adjustable brushed aluminum sides, ending with full-size ear cups that rotate upward for storage. Each ear-cup is rounded and padded in a leather like material that is exceptionally cushy, and each includes an input/output port. The ear cushions can be removed for washing.
The Beats Pro uses a single red audio-cord cable with a secured connector that locks into place on the bottom of each ear cup and can be swapped to either side of the ear cups. The unused port then becomes a second output for hooking up another set of headphones and “daisy-chaining” the sound from the Pros to the second set of headphones for communal listening. We found daisy-chaining other headphones to the Beats Pro decreased the sound level quite a bit on the Pros themselves, but not to the point of dramatically hindering performance. Two sound sources besides headphones can also be plugged into the Prosone into each ear cupif, for whatever reason, the need to listen to two songs simultaneously comes up. The possibility for amateur mixing may fit somewhere in there, but most DJs use mixers with cue channels for this.

Can a group of high-energy, teenage athletes contribute to a charitable cause? The Prep Hockey Club says, Yes! With some parental assistance, the Clubs players raised $ 1,000 at their games in October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month. They chose to give the money to a local cause: Northwest Community Hospitals Gift-A-Mammogram program.
Gift-A-Mammogram helps uninsured, low-income people in our community cover the cost of procedures to diagnose and treat breast cancer. Christine Masonick, NCHs Breast Center manager, administers the program. She says, I often talk to women who are desperate for help. Because of the generosity of donors like these players, I dont have to turn them away. Through Gift-A-Mammogram, we come to the aid of about 100 patients each year.
Prep is a combined hockey team representing Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove and Prospect high schools. Field teams play in the North Central Division of the Illinois High School League, and most home games are held at West Meadows Ice Arena. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the players wore pink shoelaces throughout October. One of their fundraising activities was a chuck a duck raffle in which spectators purchased a chance to throw small rubber ducks onto the ice. The thrower whose duck landed closest to the center won the prize.
While it was all great fun, the clubs president, Todd Peterson, says teaching young people to give back to the community is something Prep Hockey takes quite seriously. Peterson says, We want the kids to know theres more to life than hockey. This is a great opportunity to develop responsible and caring young men and women.

As part of the World Press Briefing in Sochi, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee has announced the Rate Card tariffs on telecommunications services during the 2014 Games in Sochi. The special Olympic tariffs were decided by the Organizing Committee in cooperation with the General Partner of the 2014 Games, Rostelecom, taking into account recommendations from the IOC. The organizers of the 2014 Games focused on creating the best work conditions possible for journalists; accordingly, there will be free Wi-Fi access to the Internet for them at all the competition venues for the first time in Olympic history, as well as in the media centers and media hotels. Media representatives will also be able to take advantage of higher-speed, paid Internet access to the for 4,000 rubles, which is four times cheaper than at the Olympics in Vancouver and two times cheaper than at the Games in London.
The media representatives will have prompt Internet access at all the competition venues in the rooms for the press and photographers, in the Main Media Center in the Coastal Cluster and the Gorki Media Center in the Mountain Cluster, at mixed zones, at press stands and in press conference halls, as well as in hotels for the media. For the first time in Olympic history, Wi-Fi access to the Internet will be absolutely free.
The free Internet package, called the Sochi 2014 Package, provides Wi-Fi access at a speed of up to 10 Mb without individual speed guaranteed in all media-zones of all the competition venues, Main and Gorki Media Centers as well as on the territory of the Olympic stadium. The free package includes access to the “Info+” system via personal mobile devices.
This Wi-Fi is intended for those using the Internet for email, or to send text information – news and stories, low-resolution photographs, web-navigation and work done on social networks. This free solution from Sochi 2014 has superior speed parameters to similar paid-for services that were offered to the public at previous Games in London (speeds of up to 8Mb, Sochi 10Mb), and will be 5 times quicker than the paid-for solution in Vancouver (up to 2Mb). Journalists will be able to test the free Wi-Fi package in full as early as January 24 2014, so that they can prepare for their work during the Games in the most efficient way possible.
For those working to tight deadlines and who need to be able to send high-resolution photographs, a paid “Olympic” Wi-Fi package will be on offer, with a channel speed of 10 Mb and simultaneous connection guaranteed to a maximum of 25 users. Moreover, using the same login, the media representatives will be able to connect their mobile devises both via Wi-Fi or via cable connection.
This kind of speed will make it possible to transfer large volumes of data – for example, photographs – and will ensure that the network is as well-protected as possible against being overloaded. In addition to this, the package includes high-speed cable access in the press and photographers’ work rooms, and in the press-stands, which are equipped with tables. The “Olympic” package will cost 4 thousand rubles and will also include access to the “Info+” system. This package, based on assessments by the Games organizers, is superior to similar solutions used at previous Olympic Games. In London, for the similar “Gold” package, members of the press had to pay 150 pounds for 34 days, whilst in Vancouver the “Netzone” package cost 560 Canadian dollars.
The President of OAO “Rostelecom”, Alexander Provotorov, commented:
“For Rostelecom and the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, the search for the best rates wasn’t easy – construction of the network lines in the communication system for the Olympic Winter Games, under extremely difficult mountainous conditions, unavoidably lead to heavy costs. We are proud that we managed to find a mutually beneficial balance. Rostelecom is taking heed of what its customers are saying, and is striving to make sure its telecommunications products and services meet their current needs.”
Dmitry Chernyshenko, President and CEO of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, said:
“At the Games in Sochi, along with traditional paid for packages for the first time in history, we will give media representatives free Wi-Fi access, providing maximum openness in covering Olympic and Paralympic Games. We were able to work out this optimal solution together with our long-time Partner, the Rostelecom company, and it is something that will be of benefit not just to the company itself, but to the country and the entire Olympic Movement.
Notes to the Editor
Press accreditation for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi began on October 8, 2012. A total of 2,800 journalists can be accredited for them – as many as there were for the games in Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010. The allowance for each specific country is established by the IOC.
Rostelecom (http://www.rostelecom.ru), the national telecommunications company of Russia, is the largest Russian company in the sector.
Rostelecom became a General Partner of the XXII Olympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi in the “Telecommunications” category in 2009. The company participates actively in the preparation for the Games, creating the necessary telecommunications infrastructure.
