What is an interesting informative speech topic relating to video games?

I want to do my informative speech on something that deals with or is related to video games, because that is something that interests me the most. I still can’t decide on what to talk about.
Please help me with this i have speech class in a week to present. I did by the way copy the question from somebody but replaced the word ‘fashion’ with ‘video games’ because this question is exactly what im trying to ask but with games instead of fashion lol
You could trace the history of video games for one…or perhaps explore the popularity of video games (why they are popular, who they are popular with, etc…) Be sure to keep your audience in mind when you pick and develop your topic… For example, a speech aimed at teens (presumably familiar with video games) wouldn’t need to define such games, etc. But on the other hand, if talking to your grandparents, you would need to spend time making them understand what video games are perhaps…
Why do in early NBA games only inexpensive players play and in the late games the expensive ones?

The early games in the NBA usually have only a hand full of good players on the field and the late games got all the good players. Why is that? Doesn’t every game count? What about the preseason? Do those games count?

Usually in any game that counts the best 5 are on the court. Preseason is glorified practice and used primarily to get the fringe players and youngsters some reps to see who makes the back-up and bench roles. You do not want to hurt your key guys in games that don’t count (see NFL). A lot of times if a key player has even a minor playable injury relatively close to the post season they’ll hold them out until the playoffs begin to maximize their playoff chances.

I have a PS3 and I would use the router to play games online and stream music. What would be a good wireless router for under $100 for these applications?
get a linksys its has 2.4 GHz and 54 mbps and is only 50 $ and has a great internet connection!

TimeSplitters 2 (PS2) Online with Xlink [12/22/09]

This is video of an online match of Timesplitters 2 that was played online with a program called Xlink Kai.
We usually play with powerups off, but the host of this match forgot to do that. It is very annoying aiming out shrunk down players when you have no reticle.
This multiplayer game of Timesplitters 2 was played with a program called Xlink Kai ( http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ ) .It lets you play PS2 games online even once their online servers are taken down. This means that playstation 2 games can be played online forever. The catch is it only works with games with a LAN mode. This is because the program uses a games LAN to trick the game into thinking players across the world are playing on its Local Area Network (LAN). Here is a list of games for North America that have a LAN mode so can be played online forever with Xlink Kai ( http://playstation2.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/content_gameslist_link.php ).

How do you record video games internally?

A lot of times I see videos of perfectly shown video games. Obviously, they’re being internally recorded or there would be sound or movement of the game screen. Im wondering how you do this. Thanks.
I dont mean online computer games. video games.
You can either use a software program on your computer to capture PC games or use a piece of hardware called a "Capture Card" for console games. Those will allow you to record your video games no matter what you want to record.
What are some ds games that are similar to final fantasy type games?

Im talking about either final fantasy 3 types/final fantasy 3ds types. Now I know ff4 is coming out in acouple of weeks but besides that, what are some other games similar to ff or old lunar type games. (i know lunar dragon song, but besides that) and not Pokemon/Digimon type games either even though technically they are similar but not those.
I would suggest Final Fantasy XII: Reventant Wings. It combines the rpg element of Final Fantasy and puts it into an RTS style of gameplay. Also Square Enix came out with a new game called World Ends With You, haven;t tried it yet but it looks promising.
Will this router be good for PS3 online gaming?

i have a belkin n150 and i was looking to get a ps3 slim (mainly for online gaming) so i was just wondering would my router be good enough for PS3 online gaming. oh and i have 10MB broadband- if that helps.

ps. if it isn’t that good, would it be better wired?
The one you have should be fine, I use a Netgear Wireless router, with 10mg broadband, and it’s perfect for gaming, never get any problems at all.
The only routers I’ve heard of that are definitely bad for PS3, are Linksys(I might have spelt that wrongly, lol), don’t get one of those:)
